I have seen things so beautiful
they have brought tears to my eyes.
Yet none of them can match
the gracefulness and beauty of a horse running free.

Teddy was a member of the Ling family since 1984.  He has joined his brother Boise where they wait for their beloved Mom.  Teddy whinnied every time his mom opened the back door and had her trained to go and give him a treat, an ear rub, or a good brushing.  He loved being fussed over.  He will be severely missed by the Ling Family.

Somewhere, somewhere
In time’s own space,
There must be some sweet pastured place….
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow,
Some paradise where horses go.
For by the love that guides my pen,
I know great horses live again.

When I bestride him, I soar, I am a hawk.
He trots the air, the earth sings when he touches it.

William Shakespeare

Don’t cry for the horses
That life has set free
A million white horses
Forever to be

Don’t cry for the horses
Now in God’s hands
As they dance and they prance
To a heavenly band

They were ours as a gift
But never to keep
As they close their eyes
Forever to sleep

Their spirits unbound
On silver wings they fly
A million white horses
Against the blue sky

Look up into heaven
You’ll see them above
The horses we lost
The horses we loved
