Macdougall was a very, very special boy.  I know they all are, but he had a certain quality about him.  I know you can understand the grief and loss I am feeling.  It was December 15, 2012 – two years, one month and ten days ago – that he arrived, full of cheerful enthusiasm and ready to embrace his new and different life, whatever it might turn out to be.  The time was too short, and the grief comes too soon, but I wouldn’t forgo a minute of the time I had with him.  He was a joy to live with.  Much love, Mom.

Forever remembered by all of the lives that he touched. His Mom, Nancy, did all that she could for him and loved him.  Now he awaits for her with his other canine siblings.   Rest in Peace Sweet One!

The MAGRR Board of Directors expresses sincere sympathy to Macdougall’s family and gratitude for giving him that wonderful home of his own.

Come With Me

God saw he was getting tired
and the cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around him
and whispered, “Come with Me.”

With tearful hearts
we watched him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.

A special heart stopped beating,
hard working paws laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
