Intake Report 1/14/2017:
This young girl is a stray from a local high kill shelter. After no owner came forward, director reached out to us. She couldn’t understand why no one was coming for this sweet girl. I went to meet her and after spending time with her, talking with several of the shelter staff about her and temp testing her, we decided she needed us. She has a thick healthy coat with a hint of dark highlights on her ears and tail. She has the most expressive eyes with gorgeous dark eyeliner. She walks calmly on a leash and doesn’t pull. She waited patiently for me to open the van and put her in the crate, then she rode quietly to our clinic. She met a big Golden in the clinic lobby. I think she would have played with him but he barked and growled at her so she returned the bark, but met a few other dogs very playfully. She loved all the attention from the staff. She is very playful and loves playing with a toy in the play yard. She’s a lucky gal who’s starting 2017 out on the right foot.
