Milo has been in our home for just under a week, and loves playing with our other two dogs. There was a thunderstorm during his first night at the foster home, and he was mildly anxious, but behaved very well given the new situation he was in. He loves squeaky toys, playing outside with the dogs, and meeting the neighborhood kids. Sometimes he tries to play with the cats, but the cats don’t really appreciate it yet. One of his favorite games is to take a toy and play keep away from our younger dog. They chase after each other and steal the toy back and forth, sometimes playing tug of war. Milo would do best in a home with another dog for him to play with.
He is housebroken, and behaves well for grooming activities like nail clipping and brushing. He loves to be pet and to cuddle.

We received a call from a Mississippi contact about a sweet little golden mix that needed a home. We agreed because this boy didn’t need to just go anywhere. His owners truly love him but they were unable to keep him due to health issues. He has some separation issues but is not destructive. They tried putting him out in the fenced yard and he jumped the fence and was waiting for them at the front. It was determined that he needs another dog but they can’t afford a second dog. Because husband recently had a heart attack and so they are dealing with that, just decided they couldn’t keep him. He lives with a cat and loves the cat so that is a plus. He is great with kids and loves everyone. We are confident that living with another dog will make the difference. They were very teary about leaving him. They brought toys and his bed. I did feel very sorry for them as they definitely love this little guy. He is cute as a button and just as sweet as can be.
