Meet Marshall. Marshall was turned in to a rural Arkansas shelter because his family was moving into an apartment. He spent 3 weeks in the shelter because another family member indicated that they wanted him and were coming to get him He became a favorite. They never had any problem with him and he loves everyone he meets. He gets along well with other dogs and seems to be just a happy boy.
It took us a while to arrange travel to Memphis and today (3.15.21) we were finally able to arrange a pilots and paws flight to Memphis. Lynda, our Arkansas Coordinator, took him to the airport in Conway and because the flight was delayed, she ended up spending about 3 hours with him. She said he was a perfect boy and was great with all of the people that he met while waiting at the airport. He was not bothered by any one or the noise of the planes coming and going. Once the pilot arrived they loaded him up and he was fine with everyone picking him up and putting him in that small cockpit.
I met him at the Holly Springs airport where we got him out. He did not seemed stressed or anxious. We walked him and he drank lots of water and off we went to our clinic. He jumped right out and happily went into the boarding area where they were ready for him. Everyone though he was so pretty and I have to agree. He will make someone a great new addition.
