This precious young boy he is a victim of owners who don’t see the need for fencing. He and his pal, a Great Pyrenees, have been allowed to roam freely in rural west Tennessee. They found themselves at the local shelter and the owner chose not to come pick them up. (We are attempting to find a rescue to take his Pyr friend). A rescue friend reached out to us and asked if we were willing to take him and we said absolutely. He’s approximately 9 to 12 months old, has crystal white teeth, a very dry and brittle coat and the sweetest personality. He just wants to be petted and loved on. I don’t know that he has much if any training, but he didn’t pull on the leash. He was happy to walk along in the parking lot and lay down beside me while we sat on the curb waiting for the doctor. He has a small black spot on his tongue and a spot of white fur on his chest. He is in need of a bath because he has some matting on his tail and behind his ears. He appears to just be a great young dog who just needs someone to love him. I know our adopters will be chomping at the bit to adopt him.
