Coco has been loving the snow that is here! She is a very sweet, ACTIVE girl. She’s got a lot of energy. She does great in the house, no accidents, but she’s very puppy like. She will get into trouble if left to her own devices. She will destroy stuffed toys. Outside she does great. No digging, loves to have room to run, would love to have another dog to play with but would be ok as an only dog as long as she has someone who plays with her and gives her attention. She is really just starved for attention. She also does ok with the cats. She will chase them if they run, but just wants to play. If they’re just hanging out, she doesn’t bother them. Definitely a Velcro dog.  A sweet, sweet girl and beautiful! She just wants to be loved!

Coco is a total sweetheart. She’s definitely got a lot of energy, but shes loving life in my big yard!  She is getting on with my golden and my cat.  She loves life is and is just a happy happy girl.  All in all, a great girl!

Coco is a sweet, black golden who looks like a Flat Coat Retriever but is most likely a Black Lab/Golden mix.  Her owner passed away last week after spending 20 days in the hospital, and her husband made the heartbreaking to let their neighbor get her to rescue.  She was found as a stray and spayed as a puppy. Her owners spent a lot of time traveling, so she would frequently be boarded at their clinic. When they were home, she lived on a cable run but was allowed inside at night. The neighbor had found her a few times running loose and let her stay the night, where she got along great with her dogs!  At her clinic, she was a staff favorite. She loves other dogs, but is definitely high energy. Her home had over 20 cats and she would ignore until it was their feeding time haha.  She is beautiful and rode quietly when picked her up. She does like to jump, but she quickly corrects herself. We believe she’s just starved for attention since she was always outside alone. She is not very treat motivated, but again was a great car rider.  She’s a bit chunky, and he was feeding her a non-quality dog food, so she will definitely need some better groceries!
