Update – November 28, 2021
Brett is a young bundle of energy, a puppy really. He prances his feet when he walks on a leash and he enjoys holding the end of the leash and taking himself for a walk. He loves to run and to play fetch. He knows sit and is very intelligent, curious about everything. This boy does need to learn some manners, what puppy doesn’t? But he would make a fabulous dog for a young active couple.
Intake Report – October 16, 2021
Brett wandered up to a house out of the blue. After posting him on Nextdoor, their Facebook page and checking for a microchip, the family felt like they had exhausted most of their options to find his owner. Lynda, one of our intake team members, saw the post on FB and sent to our Intake team. As much as the family who found him wanted to keep him, they said now just wasn’t the right time since the man who found him had just had shoulder surgery and faces several months of rehab. They have 3 small kids, no fenced yard and are very rarely home and know they don’t have the time to devote to a dog at this time in their lives. They report that he is sweet and got along with their kids. He appeared to be crate trained. Lynda said he was a good traveler and super sweet. He is going to add so much to some lucky family.
