Making Christmas Sugar Cookies with Buddy ...a story about Buddy Bowling Being the world’s best and most agile of counter-surfers, Buddy topped all surfing stunts recently. While in the midst of making Christmas sugar cookies, I had just finished sifting 7 or 8 cups of flour for the cookie dough. I had to run upstairs for just a moment, which turned out to be absolutely the worst move on my part. I came back downstairs ten minutes later to find Buddy licking his chomps, running around the kitchen with his eyes sparkling and tail wagging. Seeing that Buddy was just a tad bit too happy, I looked around to see what he had done. The impression of parts of Buddy’s face in the mound of flour indicated that Buddy, in what I am sure was a sincere attempt to help make Christmas sugar cookies, decided to re-sift the flour for me. It is always nice to have such good help when making Christmas sugar cookies.
